Mirror work is a form of inner work that aims to help you increase self-love and self-care. It’s a process of looking at yourself in the mirror and acknowledging all the things that you love about yourself. This can be a difficult process for some people, but it’s so important to do!
If you’re not used to looking at yourself in the mirror and being honest about what you see (nobody is), it might feel a bit strange, I'm not going to lie. But the difference it can make in your life is astounding.
It’s a way of showing yourself that you’re worthy of love and care.
Start by looking at yourself in the mirror and saying out loud, “I love you.” Say it as many times as you need to until you believe it. Then, start to list off all the things that you love about yourself. It might be your smile, your eyes, your sense of humor, or anything else that you can think of.
Don’t worry if you can’t think of anything at first. Just keep looking at yourself and saying “I love you” until something comes to mind. The more you do this, the easier it will become.

Once you’ve acknowledged all the things that you love about yourself, start to focus on self-care. This might mean taking a relaxing bath, taking yourself out for coffee, or anything else that makes you feel good!
The goal is to show yourself that you’re worthy of love and care. By doing this, you’ll start to see a difference in how you feel about yourself. You’ll feel more confident, more worth, and more loveable.
Sit in front of a mirror with a piece of paper and a pen.
Write down everything you love about yourself.
Read what you’ve written out loud to yourself.
Focus on the positive things about yourself.
Allow yourself to feel the love that you have for yourself.
Self-love is so important. It’s the foundation of a happy and healthy life. If you don’t love yourself, it’s hard to believe that anyone else could. But once you start to love yourself, it becomes so much easier to accept love from others.
If you’re having trouble loving yourself, start with baby steps. Do something small each day to show yourself some love. It doesn’t have to be anything big. Just do something that makes you feel good.
Eventually, you’ll start to see a difference in how you feel. And as you continue to practice self-love, it will become easier and more natural.

The mirror reflects back to you the feelings you have about yourself. It makes you immediately aware of where you are resisting and where you are open and flowing. It clearly shows you what thoughts you will need to change if you want to have a joyous, fulfilling life.
In front of the mirror, you can not hide from yourself. You can not put up a persona or fake it. You can not avoid eye contact. The mirror is a powerful tool that can help you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings about yourself.

Do you see someone who is beautiful and worthy of love?
Or do you see someone who is not good enough and not worthy of love?
If you see someone who is not good enough, it’s time to start practicing self-love!
Self-love is not selfish. It’s not about being narcissistic or egoistic. It’s about accepting yourself for who you are and loving yourself unconditionally.
Self-love is the foundation of a happy and healthy life. Without self-love, it’s impossible to truly be happy.
